D/R has served as a public relations and marketing consultant for the Society of Wine Educators since January 2009.

Press Releases

We compose, design and disseminate a constant stream of press releases, both to members of the Society as well as to general press and trade press.

Quarterly Newsletter

We research, write, and contribute to the lay-out of the Society’s quarterly newsletter, which we also helped to redesign. It features interviews as well as general news stories.

Annual Conference

We copy-edit all promotional materials associated with the Conference, such as programs and brochures. We discuss and contribute suggestions of potential speakers, topics, and sponsors.  We are present throughout all days of the Conference itself, pitching in whenever and wherever necessary, from introducing speakers to classroom set-ups.

Website

We contributed to the organization and redesign of the new website, and continue to add content to the website, such as the news box on the home page.
